Consumers have little control over how merchants access their payment credentials after checkout. Cancelling subscriptions often requires replacing an entire bank card, fraudulent merchants can continue charging saved cards, and a single compromised card affects every connected service. Existing banking applications offer virtual cards as secondary features, but they rarely provide merchant-level isolation or intuitive management. The challenge was to design a product that makes payment compartmentalization effortless while maintaining a premium, approachable user experience.
